ATTENTION! Active Listening is a Two Way Street
Wednesday October 7, 2026 2:45pm - 3:45pm PDT
The Art of Active Listening takes listening from “uh-huh” to aha! in ways students actually respond to. This session shows how small shifts in how we listen can dramatically boost engagement, reduce classroom friction, and improve communication. Participants will explore fun, practical strategies that help students feel heard while learning how to truly hear others. You’ll walk away with easy-to-use techniques that work immediately with no extra prep or eye rolls required. Listening, it turns out, might just be your most powerful (and underrated) teaching tool.

The Power of Eduthings: Connecting Programs, Performance, and Possibility
Wednesday October 7, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm PDT
This session explores how Eduthings helps education leaders move beyond isolated data points to build a connected, strategic view of program performance, student outcomes, credential attainment, and workforce alignment. Participants will see how integrating these data elements into one cohesive ecosystem allows districts and institutions to make informed, proactive decisions rather than reactive ones.
District administrators, CTE directors, program coordinators, data specialists, and institutional leaders will benefit most from this session—particularly those responsible for accountability, program improvement, and strategic planning. Whether you oversee multiple campuses or manage a single program, this session will provide clarity on how to transform data into direction.
Attendees will leave with practical strategies they can immediately apply in their roles, including how to:
  • Identify performance trends and opportunity gaps
  • Align programs to workforce and funding priorities
  • Use data to strengthen improvement plans
  • Communicate impact effectively to stakeholders
The session will be highly interactive, incorporating guided discussion, real-world case examples, and live dashboard walkthroughs. Attendees will have opportunities to examine sample scenarios and practice interpreting insights for decision-making.
Participants will receive access to:
  • A session summary
  • A curated list of Eduthings tools and resources to support implementation
By the end of the session, attendees will not only understand the power of connected educational data—they will have a concrete framework and tools to begin applying it immediately within their institutions.
