This session highlights the Good Life Solutions Program, a workforce development model designed to connect high school students with employers and support job placement prior to graduation. Participants will learn how intentional employer partnerships and structured work-based learning—such as internships and apprenticeships—create early career success while strengthening local talent pipelines.
The session is designed for administrators, CTE leaders, and workforce development professionals seeking practical strategies to increase student readiness and employment outcomes. Attendees will gain insight into program design, student eligibility and placement processes, employer engagement strategies, and solutions to common implementation challenges.
Audience engagement will include real-world examples, guided discussion, and interactive reflection to help participants apply concepts within their own institutions or programs. Deliverables include a digital slide deck, employer partnership templates, work-based learning planning tools, and student career-readiness resources that can be immediately adapted for use.
