Building Scalable AI-Ready CTE Programs with Faculty

Are you wondering how to integrate AI into CTE programs in ways that are practical, sustainable, and aligned with workforce needs? This session will provide concrete, evidence-based models and ready-to-use sample materials to help you do exactly that. Designed for CTE administrators, district and college leaders, deans, faculty leaders, and professional learning coordinators in both high schools and community colleges, this session shares findings from a National Science Foundation–funded project piloted in secondary and postsecondary settings. The presenters will introduce a faculty-centered model for building AI literacy across pathways without adding stand-alone courses or relying on isolated experts. Participants will explore sample AI literacy modules and engage in small-group discussion focused on incorporating/adapting materials for their own programs. Participants will leave with access to sample module content, instructional activities, and a planning framework for supporting faculty learning and curriculum integration in their schools and colleges.
