 You don’t have to build a CTE program alone. Hear from leaders in Careers in  Construction Colorado, (CCIC), who partners with 91 high schools in Colorado, and Harbor Freight Tools for Schools prize-winning teachers who have successfully implemented the CICC model to strengthen their program and create a pipeline of students to the skilled trades industry. 
  • Key Content: Discuss the "Colorado Model"—how Careers in Construction Colorado, (CICC), integrates with schools—and how the Harbor Freight Prize for Teaching Excellence can provide the "seed money" or "rocket fuel" for these programs.
  • Administrator Takeaway: A checklist for vetting industry partners and securing long-term funding/partnerships. Why does the industry curriculum matter?  How to give industry what they want and enhance the school’s program at the same time.
