Best Practices for CTE Administrators Conference 2026
Wednesday October 7, 2026 11:15am - 12:15pm MDT
Many CTE organizations proudly display their values - far fewer have defined what those values look like in daily practice. When expectations remain undefined, leadership lacks consistency and culture relies more on individual interpretation than shared standards.

This interactive roundtable explores a practical approach to translating organizational values into observable behaviors that clarify expectations for staff and leaders. Using a real-world example from a CTE institution’s Standards of Excellence initiative, participants will discuss the gap between “words on the walls” and “behavior in the halls” and explore how clearer behavioral expectations can strengthen culture, onboarding and coaching conversations.

Attendees will leave with a simple Behavior Mapping tool and practical questions to help start similar conversations within their own organizations.
