Best Practices for CTE Administrators Conference 2026
Wednesday October 7, 2026 11:15am - 12:15pm PDT
This Ain’t Our First Rodeo. Discover how our district balances systemwide cohesion through shared capstone networking structures while honoring meaningful school-level autonomy. As a Colorado state graduation requirement, capstones are implemented across more than twenty two secondary schools in Jeffco Public Schools, each at varying levels of integration. We will share practical strategies for cultivating student ownership while ensuring equitable access to opportunities that intentionally build social capital for every learner. Participants will analyze two contrasting social capital networking lesson plans, one mountain rural and one city urban, and leave with a customizable structure to implement with educators, students, and industry experts in their own communities.
