Amanda Crawley serves as a Program Manager of Work-Based Learning at SkillsUSA, where she leads the development of resources, initiatives, and strategic initiatives that connect students to meaningful career exploration and real-world experiences. he works closely with state leaders, educators, and industry partners to expand access to high-quality work-based learning opportunities and strengthen the connection between education and workforce needs across the nation.
Amanda’s path to this role is rooted in education. She began her career as an elementary special education teacher, where she built inclusive learning environments focused on accessibility, growth, and student success. Her classroom experience shaped a lasting commitment to creating opportunities and practical pathways that help students see a clear future beyond graduation.Throughout her career, Amanda has remained deeply engaged with SkillsUSA, serving in state leadership roles, mentoring student leaders, and supporting national initiatives. This long-standing involvement strengthened her expertise in student leadership development, educator support, and program design, ultimately leading to her full-time work advancing Work-Based Learning at the national level.
Amanda holds a master’s degree in Teaching Multilingual Learners in Special Populations from Rhode Island College and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education.
