Ms. Danielle Hawkins offers over two decades of impactful experience in special education, culminating in her current role as Assistant Director of Human Resources for Employee Development at the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) since 2022. In this capacity, she spearheads the CCIU Induction program and drives talent development strategies across the organization, including the development of alternative pathways to special education teacher certification. Her 15-year tenure as a Special Education Supervisor at the CCIU provided her with extensive experience in supervision, program oversight, and the completion of comprehensive special education program reviews. Ms. Hawkins' deep understanding of the educational landscape is built upon a strong academic foundation, including an undergraduate degree in communication disorders from Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds certifications in special education and as a supervisor of special education, along with the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
