About me
Dave Foshee is a veteran educator with 32 years of public education experience. Dave began his career as a middle school science in suburban Oklahoma in 1994 and moved to Alaska in 1997 where he was a teacher and school principal in the Bering Straight School District. He worked for a decade in rural Alaska on the Seward Peninsula before moving with his family to Fairbanks. He spent the next 15 years as a school administrator in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District. In 2022 he retired from FNSBSD but then found himself as a grant manager for the Career and Technical Education program with the Yukon-Koyukuk School District where he is currently the Director of CTE. His focus is now on delivering quality Career and Technical Education to rural Alaska students located in 10 remote communities along the Yukon and Koyukuk rivers in the Alaskan interior.
