About me
Justin Lyn Perfili is a nationally recognized CTE and financial literacy educator, keynote speaker, and author dedicated to helping educators and administrators reignite purpose, passion, and impact in their leadership. A Utah Hall of Fame Financial Education Teacher and current Subject Matter Expert for eDynamics’ Virtual Business software, Justin brings both classroom credibility and systems-level thinking to his work with CTE leaders across the country.
After experiencing firsthand how burnout, compliance pressure, and constant performance demands affected him during a career in marketing, Justin shifted into education with a renewed focus on purpose-driven leadership, and how that clarity transforms culture, staff retention, and student outcomes. His work blends real-world CTE practice, data-informed decision-making, and powerful storytelling drawn from his personal journey through entrepreneurship, education, and recovery from a life-altering health event.
Justin is the author of Blind Spot: Living Your Best Life and Rear View, which challenge educators to reflect on past decisions, uncover blind spots, and realign programs and people toward meaningful outcomes. He is currently completing his third book, Passing Lane, which explores how leaders remove internal barriers, accelerate growth, and move forward with intention. Known for his authenticity, humor, and ability to energize rooms of educators, Justin challenges CTE administrators to see themselves not just as program managers, but as culture shapers and potential unlockers shaping the future workforce.
