About me
Michael Herrera, Ed.D., is an education and workforce systems executive with more than 20 years of experience aligning public education, industry, and policy to expand economic mobility. He serves as Executive Director of Upper Bucks County Technical School, leading a multi-district public career and technical education system serving nearly 1,000 learners and overseeing governance, strategic planning, finance, and employer partnerships.
Dr. Herrera also serves as Region I Vice President and Board Member for the Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE), representing multiple states in advancing workforce alignment and credentialing policy. His work centers on designing scalable, employer-validated talent pipelines that connect secondary and postsecondary education to high-demand industries through collaboration with more than 200 industry partners.
