About me
Michael Herrera, Ed.D., is Executive Director of Upper Bucks County Technical School and ACTE Region I Vice President, serving on the ACTE Board of Directors. His work focuses on career-connected learning, CTE, employer partnerships, credentialing, and building stronger connections among secondary education, postsecondary education, and the workforce.
Dr. Herrera works at the intersection of education and industry to create pathways that help students discover their strengths, validate their skills and experiences, and connect those assets to college, careers, and economic opportunity.
His work includes expanding employer and postsecondary partnerships, advancing industry-recognized credentials, strengthening work-based learning, and helping education leaders design more seamless pathways from CTE into further education and employment.
